Mike is in high spirits after his crash on Saturday. The surgery went well and he has two titanium pins, one down his leg and one across his hip.
The hospital has already started the weight-bearing physical therapy and he should be back home by Wednesday or Thursday.
It sounds as though he’s not lost his sense of humour and was even asking who won the race…

Glad to hear Mike is OK. Too bad he had to be taken out by a sketchy rider who has already crashed numerous times this year.
