Did you see the last 1K crash at yesterdays finish in Montpellier? I studied the replay several times, well more like Mex wanted to see what happened, and who caused the crash.
It wasn’t obvious at first, but our friend Robbie Hunter did appear to take the corner way too fast and switched from inside to outside, then he appeared to brake and a small gap opened up. When the camera switched to the finishing straight view he was at the back of the group in 6th place… the same place that he’d been in when the switch/accident happened.
It was a great sprint, long, he went way too early, but it finally paid off for him and I’m glad it did. Congratulations, Robbie.
All is fair in love and war. Watch it again and see what you think.
