Get some rest…

July 9th, 2007 · No Comments

Mex and I both raced at Coyote Creek on Saturday. Mex rode the W1234 race and hung in there nicely, she’s stronger than she realises and should upgrade to the 3’s… already sandbagging with more than enough points to move up.

In the E3’s race at Coyote Creek yesterday, a good riding friend came down hard on turn 4.
Mike Vetterli from the Olympic Club will be known to many of you that have done the M35+ 123 races. Also this year he rode well at Mt Hood and was due to go to Cascade [...]

Getting better all the time…

July 6th, 2007 · No Comments

The lactate test wasn’t as bad as I remember. I didn’t have my nose pinned, have to wear a mask or even have spit and snot dribbling down my face. That must have been the VO2Max.
The bad news was I did have my ear pricked and blood taken and I did have to [...]

Mex rode the W3/4 race and had a great race, [...]

The dog is in his house

July 3rd, 2007 · No Comments

Got back from the morning constitutional to find the dog had pee’d on my bed!
That ruined a great ride for coffee, observing the wild-life and seeing the pre-NRC rides from VAC.
Arghhh…
Feeling strong and looking forwards to Davis - I might even do 2 or 3 races tomorrow. I’ll show the ‘muricans a thing [...]
