Is this thing still on?

IMG_4218.JPG Its been a long time and the world has moved on without me apparently.

  1. Contador won Le Tour then lost his sponsor
  2. Timpani Crit P/1/2 was a hot and steamy affair, won by Patrick Briggs
  3. I took some time off with my parents on vacation - feels like a long time ago now
  4. I went to Australia for business and lost a lot of form
  5. Came back and flatted on the start line at Dunnigan, nobody waited for me :(
  6. Mex flatted at Dunnigan, twice.
  7. I donated tubes and air to those poor souls stopped on the road side fixing flats at Dunnigan.
  8. Mex had some time off and came back to place 6th at San Ardo
  9. Ruth’s debut race at San Ardo resulted in her 3rd place and getting approached to join another team! Hands off!
  10. I’ve been chastising myself for not blogging for over a month, every day.

Procrastination over.

Margaret/Mex, it was a pleasure racing with you @ San Ardo. Congratulations to both you and Ruth.

    Thanks Lorri!

It was good to see you too. Ruth may have caught the racing bug. It has been great this year for her to see so many women out there racing.

Robert and I both thought it would be our son, Joseph, who would start racing. Just goes to show, never underestimate the determination of a young woman.

We’ll be seeing you out there soon!

    So Dude,
It’s been killing me thinking about that flat you had at Dunnigan. Way after the fact, I realized I should have given you my wheel as I had time to re-tube your wheel and make my start. Such a fine line between clever and stupid especially with hindsight and all. Bad team mate for sure. Anyway, it really bummed me out to see you fixing that thing on the line.
